The pool is for the use of residents of the Rock Hill Neighborhood only. Our neighbors to the south in the Forest neighborhood do not have access to the pool.
If you are not sure which neighborhood you live in, reference this map. Houses not depicted on this map are not part of our community. (If you are still in doubt, the final answer is on your title paperwork.)
Please review these rules with your children to ensure safe and injury-free enjoyment of the pool for everyone.
Pool hours: 10am-10pm
NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY, SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK! BY LAW, CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 14
MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES.
The pool is a privilege of living in our community and it is the responsibility of all residents to ensure
its quality. Your household will be given one (1) key card to gain access to the pool gate. You assume
sole responsibility for keeping the key card safe. Please note that lost or stolen key cards will be
replaced for a fee of $50. Lost cards will be deactivated. By accepting the key card, you and your
family, as well as your pool guests, agree to abide by all pool rules and HOA regulations while using
the pool and its grounds. If a resident moves out of Rockhill, it is their responsibility to return the
key card to the HOA.
Annual HOA dues must be paid in full to receive a key card. At the end of the pool season, the key
card will be deactivated and will be re-activated each year when the homeowner has paid their
dues.
- An adult must accompany all children under the age of 14. We trust that all parents, when
allowing their children 14 and over to swim unsupervised, will take into consideration the child’s
ability to swim and their maturity level to take care of him/herself. Other adults at the pool are
there for their enjoyment and cannot be responsible for the safety and welfare of your child.
BABYSITTERS MUST BE 16 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. - Because there is NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY, it is up to ALL residents to make sure the rules of the
pool are known to their children and guests. Residents will be responsible for any damage or
inappropriate acts by their children and guests. - RESIDENTS MUST HAVE THEIR KEY CARD WITH THEM AT ALL TIMES, NO EXCEPTIONS. CARDS
ARE REQUIRED FOR ENTRY TO THE POOL. DO NOT OPEN THE GATE FOR OTHERS WHO
DO NOT HAVE A KEY CARD WITH THEM. KEY CARDS ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE AND MUST
NOT BE GIVEN TO OR LOANED TO ANYONE OUTSIDE OF THE RESIDENT’S HOUSEHOLD.
RESIDENTS MUST BE PRESENT WITH GUESTS AT ALL TIMES. - No horseplay, running, excessive splashing, rude or inappropriate language, or any other activity
that could be considered dangerous, disruptive, or offensive to others. - Absolutely NO GLASS, cigarettes, drugs, gum, or littering are permitted in and around the pool
area. Smoking permitted ONLY in the parking lot at least 10 feet away from the pool fence.
When broken glass is found in the pool area, the pool may have to be shut down, drained,
cleaned, and refilled. This is costly and may require that the pool be shut down for several days. - Please deposit trash in the provided trash can. A recycling bin has been provided for aluminum cans and plastic bottles – please do your part.
- Pets are not allowed in the pool area.
- Music is allowed, but must not be disruptive or offensive to other residents.
- Swim diapers are required for all children not potty trained.
- The HOA is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
- The HOA shall have complete authority to enforce all rules. The HOA may, at its discretion,
terminate the key card and use of the pool to residents and/or guests who violate ANY pool
rule. - The pool is monitored by video surveillance at all times.
The above pool rules will be strictly enforced and must be observed by residents approved for use of
the pool/ The HOA reserves the right to add policies and rules as necessary. The undersigned
understands and agrees to the above rules. The undersigned further agrees to absolve Rockhill, the
HOA, the builders, agents, contractors, and sub-contractors of all financial and legal liability.
